Refunds and fees
The demo ledger uses a 15% platform fee when a student releases a held booking. Card refunds follow the rules below once a provider is connected.
Commission
The platform keeps 15% of the released gross. The faculty member receives the rest. Express delivery uses the faculty member’s own express rate. There is no second platform surcharge. Phase 1 does not sell retainers.
A proposal is at least 15 USD or 4,000 PKR, and at most 2,000 USD or 500,000 PKR.
Cancellations
A student who cancels before work starts, or more than 24 hours before a consultation, is refunded in full.
A teacher who cancels, or does not attend, triggers a full refund.
A student no-show pays the teacher 50% after an administrator confirms it. The other half is refunded.
Disputes
Either party can open one dispute while the fee is held. An administrator reads the files and notes, then releases the payout, refunds it, or refunds part of it. A chargeback freezes that payout until the case closes. The current site can release or refund the demo ledger. It does not capture a card.
